We are committed to promoting and sustaining the health and productivity of commercial vehicle truck drivers and trucking industry employees.

Someone who has good eating, sleeping and physical activity habits, keeps freight moving, safely and on time. But long hours behind the wheel, and other factors unique to the trucking industry, mean that many of our drivers don’t have healthy habits. Most of us want to live a healthier lifestyle but lack the knowledge and skills to make desired changes. Improving the health of our drivers will decrease undesired down time. Healthy drivers welcome and appreciate the health promotion and disease prevention education employers provide to sustain and maintain their health and productivity.
“Avoid the all too familiar barrier to good health of thinking there aren’t many options available to healthy eating on the road or thinking people know what to do – they just don’t do it. Just as a mechanic needs the right tools and skills to fix an engine we all need the tools and skills to practice healthy habits. These will go a long way in 'fixing' health problems.”
